STA Pricing win announced

Pricing win as increases for short term accommodation announced

Following the NDIA's announcement on 26 October 2017, new prices for short term accommodation (STA) have been released. The result is a big win for the sector.

The increases are substantial, reflecting the higher costs of employing staff on weekends and public holidays and of supporting people with more complex needs.

New price limits have been set for support ratios of: 1 staff member to 4 participants; 1 to 2; and 1 to 1 (for people with the most complex needs). These prices are also adjusted for delivery on a Saturday, Sunday and Public Holiday.
